Evander Holyfield Wears an Atlas Bespoke Tuxedo

In celebration of the 2025 Met Gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” Atlas Bespoke created a one-of-a-kind tuxedo for boxing icon Evander Holyfield.

The commission brings together two ideas central to the evening’s theme: tailoring as a form of personal expression and clothing as a reflection of legacy. For Holyfield - an athlete whose career has been defined by discipline, resilience and unmistakable presence - the tuxedo was conceived with the same sense of purpose.

A timeless silhouette and softly structured construction establish a balance between formal precision and natural ease. Rather than relying on excess, the design allows proportion, movement and the character of the wearer to define the garment. Every element was considered to complement Holyfield’s powerful frame while preserving the refinement of traditional eveningwear.

The result is an expression of modern bespoke tailoring shaped around the individual. It honors the traditions of formal dress while acknowledging the cultural significance, confidence and individuality explored through “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

More than a ceremonial garment, the tuxedo reflects the dialogue between craftsmanship and character that defines the Atlas Bespoke atelier. It is a study in strength without rigidity, distinction without excess and style built to endure.
