For the 82nd Golden Globes, Atlas Bespoke created an exclusive suede Weekender Bag in collaboration with Robb Report. Conceived as the centerpiece of the ceremony’s Ultimate Gift Bag, the limited edition was developed to house a specially curated collection of products and experiences presented during the 2025 awards season.
The project brought the language of the Atlas atelier into a new setting: a travel piece shaped by function, proportion and material character. Crafted in rich chestnut-brown suede, the Weekender was designed with a structured yet softly articulated silhouette - substantial enough for travel while retaining the restraint of a personal commission.
A Study in Material and Proportion
The exterior was crafted from full-grain Italian suede, selected for its fine nap, depth of tone and natural variation. Double tanning gives the material a rich, dimensional color while helping it retain its structure through continued use. Over time, the suede develops subtle tonal variations and a patina particular to the journey of its owner.
A spacious organic-cotton interior was finished with suede accents, balancing durability with a refined tactile quality. Reinforced handles, a removable shoulder strap and a full-length zip closure allow the bag to transition comfortably between hand carry and longer journeys.
Matching suede defines the pocket facings and piping, while full-grain leather reinforces areas exposed to frequent handling. Discreet embossing and a brushed stainless-steel Golden Globes travel tag complete the design without interrupting its clean silhouette.
Crafted for the Journey
The Weekender was designed to move easily between formal and casual settings. Its elongated proportions provide generous capacity, while the extended handles and removable strap offer flexibility in use. Rather than treating utility and refinement as opposing ideas, the construction allows each to inform the other.
Every element was considered as part of a unified composition - from the tension of the handles and placement of the zipper to the relationship between the suede body and its reinforced base. The result is a travel object with presence, purpose and an enduring sense of ease.
